The electric demolition tool adopts cordless design and converts electric energy into mechanical energy to achieve the purpose of cutting, drilling and obstacle removal. With rechargeable battery pack as the power source, the equipment has the characteristics of light weight, compact structure and rapid operation. It is widely used in fire rescue teams. Common electric demolition workers include electric shearing and expanding pliers, electric two-way rescue saw, etc.
1) Electric scissors
The electric shearing and expanding pliers (Fig. 4-53) is an electric breaking and dismantling tool that uses the built-in rechargeable battery pack as the power source and integrates the functions of shearing and expanding. Some models can also be driven by external batteries and motors. The equipment has compact structure and convenient carrying, and can be quickly put into the fire truck rescue work. It is especially suitable for rescue and rescue operations in narrow space, field and other environments.
2) Electric two-way rescue saw
The electric two-way rescue saw (Fig. 4-54) adopts double saw blades for cutting and is equipped with high-capacity lithium battery. When the fire truck is working, it can be operated by one person. It can quickly cut steel, copper, aluminum, wood, plastic, rubber, automobile glass and other materials to achieve rapid rescue. It is more efficient than the existing traditional breaking and dismantling equipment such as hydraulic shear pliers. Because there is no need for gasoline or electric equipment, it is light and practical. It has the advantages of fast cutting speed, high efficiency, wide cutting range, complete functions, stable cutting process, no recoil force, and no risk of saw sticking or chip collapse.
