Requirements for rain proof sealing performance of fire engines
The waterproof equipment in the pump room and the fire-fighting equipment in the driver's box shall be the same as the waterproof equipment in the passenger's room. If the waterproof equipment in the pump room and the electric equipment in the fire-fighting box cannot be sealed, the waterproof equipment in the pump room shall not be the same as the waterproof equipment in the passenger's room.
The rain proof sealing test is conducted by artificial rainfall. The width of the rain proof sealing frame is 3 m, and the length should be greater than the degree of the tested fire truck. Water supply pipes are installed on both sides. Rainwater sprinklers are installed on the water supply pipe at a spacing of 250 mm. The upper water supply pipe can move up and down. The sprinkler faces the fire truck in the direction of 45, the lower water supply pipe is fixed, and rainwater sprinklers facing the fire truck are installed at a spacing of 250 mm on both sides.
During the test, drive the fire truck to the rain proof sealing frame, adjust the water supply pipe above the rain proof sealing frame so that the rainwater nozzle is 300 mm above both sides of the fire truck, close the fire door, window and equipment box door, start the engine and maintain idle speed, turn on the water supply pump to supply water to the rain proof sealing frame with rainfall intensity of 0.12 mm / s, and turn on the wiper, alarm lamp and strobe lamp at the same time. The test time is 15 min.
After the rain, check whether there is leakage and water leakage in the cab, cab, passenger compartment, equipment box for electrical equipment or waterproof equipment, pump room with electrical equipment, and whether there is water inflow in the alarm lamp and strobe lamp.
